EVEN THE BRAVEST MINDS NEED SUPPORT.

Brave Minds is an independent Ukrainian NGO providing free and confidential psychological support to firefighters, rescuers and emergency responders across Ukraine.

INDEPENDENT. CONFIDENTIAL. UKRAINIAN.

Our Support

Crisis Support

As a growing organisation, our crisis support service is continuing to develop. While it is not yet a 24-hour emergency helpline, expanding the availability of this service is one of our key priorities for the future.

Online Therapy

Speak confidentially with a qualified Ukrainian psychologist, wherever you are in Ukraine. Our free online sessions can help with stress, trauma, sleep, relationships, difficult experiences or simply how you've been feeling lately.

Self Help Tools

Explore practical resources developed to help you understand and manage stress, difficult experiences and the pressures of emergency response. Access them privately, whenever you need them.

If you, or someone else is in immediate danger or requires urgent medical assistance, please contact the appropriate emergency services via 112.

Amidst the smoke, fire, collapsed buildings, and the constant effort to save lives, it’s easy not to notice when the ground beneath your own feet begins to disappear. The professional support of a psychologist makes it possible to rebuild that foundation, regain your footing, and stand firmly, even in the most unpredictable situations. Thank you, Viktoriia!

Working in the field of civil protection and helping others, you sometimes forget about your own psychological state. War, constant stress, great responsibility and emotional load gradually accumulate. There comes a time when you realise that you can no longer cope on your own. It was during this period that I turned to Brave Minds and received support from psychologist Victoria. She did not give ready-made answers or universal recipes. She listened carefully, asked the right questions and helped to find solutions on her own. For me, this support was exactly the resource that was needed at the most difficult moment.

“We are here to support rescuers without judgement when they need us. I feel incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to make a difference, and to know that the efforts of both myself and my team are helping transform the way our ‘heroes without weapons’ experience support, recognition, and care. Everyone needs a safe space and someone who will listen, understand, and help them preserve their inner strength, resilience, and belief in themselves.”
